4. Phoenix Suns

In Phoenix fashion, the Suns were essentially reborn from the ashes last season going from a lottery pick year to the NBA Finals. A lot has to do with Chris Paul who completely revitalized the lackluster Suns offense in just one year on the team.

CP3 has not only improved as a player himself but has made those around him like his young stud DeAndre Ayton at the 5, and All-Star shooting guard Devin Booker blossom into players they never were before. The Suns are coming off an NBA Finals loss after being up 2-0 to start the series.

This was almost everyone’s first time playing in the finals including Chris Paul. The team that shocked the league right out of the gate grabbing the 2 seed, and absolutely dominating in the playoffs only to fall just short will be sure to make a comeback.

The road will be tough, but the Suns are among the few with the capability to power through.
