Three big takeaways from the New York Knicks’ preseason opener. 

Tuesday night, the New York Knicks beat the Indiana Pacers 125-104 in their first preseason game…and fans couldn’t be happier.

The Knicks are on a quest to prove that last year wasn’t a fluke after winning 41 games and securing the 4th seed. From the opening tip-off, you could feel the energy from the crowd still flowing from last season’s improbable run.

However, the question remained…would they be able to repeat last season’s success or have a sudden drop-off?
