Dallas Mavericks: No one else can do what Luka does

As I’m sure everyone remembers, the Mavericks lost to the Clippers in the first round of the playoffs last year. But while I watched Dallas push them to 7 games I found myself wondering – “could anyone else in the NBA carry this Dallas roster like Luka is?”

I’m not sure. Luka is arguably the best offensive player in the NBA and only getting better. He’s the favorite to win MVP and if they can hit shots and play defense around him it might be enough to make a surprising playoff run.

Milwaukee Bucks: Isn’t it obvious?

Milwaukee is fresh off of an NBA championship, Giannis Antetokounmpo won Finals MVP while looking like an evolutionary Wilt Chamberlain, and they bring back all the key pieces from last year’s team. If you’re a Bucks fan who isn’t optimistic then you might be the problem.
