Three early-season Eastern Conference trends to watch as the NBA season unravels. 

The 2021-22 NBA season is roughly a week old and there are plenty of interesting storylines that have become to arise. Specifically speaking, the Eastern Conference has pretty much dominated the early-season storylines thus far.

Whether it’s the circus that the Brooklyn Nets have become or the mess that is the Ben Simmons-Philadelphia 76ers drama, the East hasn’t been short on interesting storylines. Though, at least for a moment, we’re going to stay away from the off-the-court drama and stick to the on-the-court play.

A week into the new season, we will explore three interesting early-season East trends that should be followed over the course of the next few weeks.
