Buying or selling the championship chances for teams that have gotten off to a hot start to the 2021-22 NBA season. 

The 2021-22 NBA season has gotten off to a blazing start. There have been plenty of storylines in both conferences that pertain to both on-and-off the court festivities. Specifically, we’ve already seen a few contenders in both conferences begin to separate themselves from the pack.

Even though it’s only been a week and a half of the regular season, it’s never too early to try and identify the true championship-worthy teams versus those that are just off to a good start to the season.

Because it’s Halloween, we decided to play a little version of Pretender or Contender by replacing each of those labels with Halloween-themed ones. In this case, we will play Trick or Treat with a few teams that have gotten off to a fast start to the season.
