The Miami Heat have been one of the most impressive teams to start the year. When this team is healthy and has all hands on deck, there’s no question that this team is going to be a handful for any contender. And that was evident as the Heat have already beaten the Milwaukee Bucks and Brooklyn Nets to start the year.

That said, we’ve already seen the inconsistent side of this team as well. And that is the biggest reason why there are many that aren’t entirely sold on this team being a true and legit contender in the Eastern Conference.

If Erik Spoelstra can push the right buttons all season long and if the team as a whole can remain healthy, the Heat seems like a team that could make another surprise run to the NBA Finals. But it needs a lot of things to fall into place over the next few months.
