2. Scottie Barnes, F, Toronto Raptors
Considering the pre-draft talk and despite his rise in the weeks leading up to the event, I don’t believe anyone could’ve seen this amount of early-season success for Scottie Barnes coming. Nevertheless, it appears that the Toronto Raptors have done it again.
Barnes looks like the real deal and before his recent injury, he was beginning to take an active and leadership role for the Raptors. Through seven games played, Barnes is averaging 19 points and nine rebounds on 55 percent shooting from the field.
Even beyond the eye-grabbing statistics, there is plenty to like about Barnes. He has great size for a wing, can guard nearly every position on the floor, and has already shown that he has star potential.
Barnes is just scratching the surface on his potential and already looks like an A1 player to stem out of the 2021 NBA Draft.
