Stephen Curry leads the way in our first NBA MVP Ladder of the season.

Just a few weeks into the 2021-22 NBA season, and there are already a few superstar players that have begun to separate themselves from the pack in the race for the NBA MVP award.

We explore our first NBA MVP LAdder, and we begin with a few honorable mentions.

9. Paul George, LA Clippers – If the Clippers can continue to make a move up the West standings, there’s no question that Paul George is playing at an MVP level.

8. Anthony Davis, Los Angeles Lakers – There have been a few things that we’ve learned about the Los Angeles Lakers thus far, and one of them is that Anthony Davis is officially the best player on the roster. He’s putting up monster numbers to start the season – 25 points, 12 rebounds, and three assists per game.

7. Donovan Mitchell, Utah Jazz – The Utah Jazz appear to be the best team in the NBA at the moment, picking up where they left off in the regular season a year ago. Donovan Mitchell isn’t in mid-season form yet but is still the best player on the best team.

6. Giannis Antetokounmpo, Milwaukee Bucks – Giannis is once again posting outrageous numbers this season. Because of injuries though, the Bucks have some catching up to do in the Eastern Conference standings.
