7. New York Knicks

The air has been taken out of the New York Knicks to a certain extent. After the blazing start to the season, the Knicks have dropped a few games over the last week, or so. Though, it was extremely impressive to see them come from behind against the Milwaukee Bucks a couple of days ago.

That’s probably the signature win of the season as far. RJ Barrett appears to have taken another step in his progression and might be the most important player for the team this season. If he can continue to play at the level he’s playing at, the Knicks will absolutely be in the running for hosting a first-round playoff series in the East.

Nevertheless, as it always comes to the Knicks, that’s a big if. This team has some talent but it remains to be seen if they have enough to make a true run to win the East this year.
