1. Utah Jazz
It’s safe to say that through the first few weeks of the season, the Utah Jazz has been the best team in the league. Their offense is humming even though Donovan Mitchell hasn’t even gotten going yet and Rudy Gobert is anchoring another league-best defensive unit.
The Jazz got deeper during the offseason and if they can remain healthy, there’s no reason to think why this is not a that can make a run to the NBA Finals this season.
Other teams in the Western Conference will get better; I don’t think it’s safe to assume that the Lakers, Suns, and Nuggets will continue to be inconsistent all season long. Still, it’s hard to say that the Jazz isn’t the best of the bunch.
