The consistent play of Jordan Poole

Jordan Poole has been one of the best players on this talented Warriors squad, with the third-year player showing his scoring capabilities. Poole has increased his scoring averages to 18.2 PPG, which is 7.2 points above his career average. He has had five games above 20 points, including a 31 point game against Charlotte where he hit seven 3-pointers.

With Thompson out, Poole has become the starting shooting guard alongside Curry and has relished the role. He is shooting 45.4% of his FG attempts and has legitimate claims for the Most Improved Player award if he keeps up his exceptional way of playing.

If Poole manages to find more consistency to score at a high volume, he could very well win the award and continue to help propel his team towards another championship. The young gun has the touch to become a consistent scorer and a major piece of the Warriors offensive game, even when Klay Thompson makes his inevitable return.
