The sharpshooting threat

The Golden State Warriors’ success in the last decade has come due to their electric 3-point shooting, led by franchise player Stephen Curry. Golden State’s continued 3-point accuracy has been a major reason for their success so far this early in the season.

The Warriors rank third in 3-point percentage this season, sitting on 38.4% and narrowly trailing the Hornets and 76ers. This is due to the continued success of shooters such as Steph Curry, the improved development of Jordan Poole, and the addition of a number of sharpshooters over the offseason which fit this Warriors team.

Players such as Nemanja Bjelica and Otto Porter Jr. have been great additions to this Warriors team. Both players are sharpshooters and have helped the Warriors off the bench with their accuracy, with Bjelica shooting 57.9% from the 3-point territory and Porter Jr. hitting just under 50% of his attempts at 46.7%.

This success has allowed the Warriors to jump on teams fast to either develop a big lead or to bring themselves back from trailing, making them one of the biggest offensive threats in the league.
