Golden State Warriors: 3 key takeaways after 10 games
By Liam Clark
Stephen Curry is in MVP form
After a couple of seasons filled with injuries, Curry showcased at the end of last season that he has what it takes to be an MVP caliber talent in this league still. Throughout the course of the first ten games, Curry has averaged 27.6 PPG, 6.6 APG, and 6.6 RPG, with multiple double/double games and a triple-double to start the season. He has recently come off a 50-point, 10-assist game against the Atlanta Hawks to will his team to the win.
Curry has been electric and willing his teams to win, providing well-rounded production on both rebounding and assists, as well as shooting an 42.9% field goal percentage and 38.8% from beyond the arc. He has been the leader of this team and the main reason they are sitting great in the Western Conference and overall standings.
If the Warriors continue their form, it is not hard to see Curry getting a fair few votes for the MVP award at the end of the season. It would add to an already historic resume for the superstar and it is something all NBA fans would love to see.
