2. Milwaukee is massively underperforming.

Boy, did I get Milwaukee wrong.

I thought that having won the title last season, Giannis and the Bucks would come storming out of the gates, demolishing everything in the path on their quest to go back-to-back. Instead, these Bucks have lost their horns and look a shell of what they were last season.

Through 11 games the Bucks are 5-6, with their offense being the main reason for their drop. It is currently only the 19th best in the NBA (106.7 PPG) when last season it was the best (120.1 PPG).

Giannis is still dominating as usual, but everyone else has suffered a slump. The likes of Khris Middleton, Jrue Holiday, and Bobby Portis all seem to be suffering from the ball-change mentioned previously. This lack of shooting has really disrupted Milwaukee’s offense and it’s painful to watch.

As I’ve said, I think teams will adjust to the new ball and Milwaukee will be no exception. I fully expect them to get back on track and remind everyone why they were the best team in the league.
