Three trades that would help the Indiana Pacers reshuffle their roster.
Since Paul George (allegedly) created a skism in the locker room in 2014, the Indiana Pacers have been the poster child team of mediocrity. They’ve made the playoffs far more often than not, but never made the second round.
That was all supposed to change with the emergence of T.J. Warren-Godmode in the Disney Bubble last summer…but injuries to Warren and nearly the entire roster prevented that.
I have argued that the Pacers could have an expedited, clean rebuild with a decisive “everything must go” fire sale, but that is not the direction their management wants to go, or coach Rick Carlisle.
Instead, here are three plausible trades that could reshuffle the roster without burning it all down, saving the very best, most fun trade for last.
