Indiana Pacers: 3 trades that would successfully reshuffle the roster
By Dan Knitzer
Pacers trade Myles Turner, Jeremy Lamb and 2023 first round pick to Pelicans for Brandon Ingram
Brandon Ingram is toiling away in New Orleans. Actually, everyone is toiling away in New Orleans. He wouldn’t make Indiana even a fringe contender but could help them chase the sixth seed, and serve as a reliable late-game scorer, regardless of whatever happens with Warren and the oft-injured Pacers guard Malcolm Brogdon and Caris LeVert.
The Pelicans would love to add a shot-blocking, 3-point shooting big man alongside Zion. Jeremy Lamb is more salary filler in this trade than anything.
Enough people think Ingram is a good stats, bad team guy that maybe Indiana wouldn’t even need to include the first round pick.
