It seems that Myles Turner can’t not find his name in the rumor mill anytime it’s trade deadline season or when a team is looking to make an addition to the frontcourt. Nevertheless, the truth remains that the Pacers can’t pay all their young talented players and Turner is an expiring contract after next season.

Assuming that the Pacers will have to “choose” between their two talented bigs – and that the answer will be Domantas Sabonis – you’d have to imagine that the Pacers would be at least open to hearing some offers at the trade deadline. Even more so if the Pacers can’t climb out of the early-season hole that they’ve dug themselves into.

Turner is averaging 12 points, eight rebounds, and three blocks per game on 53 percent shooting from the field and 42 percent shooting from 3-point range this season.
