Brooklyn Nets

The narrative that has been around the Brooklyn Nets to start the season suggests that this team has been a disappointment. That said, considering that the team is 12-5, and it just tells you how scary this team can be when they’re fully healthy, available, and playing at a high level.

Right now, the team is without Kyrie Irving and James Harden, while he has recovered from a very rough start to the season, hasn’t looked like his MVP self at all this season. Still, Kevin Durant is playing at a very high level and he has the Nets near the top of the Eastern Conference.

If this team gets Kyrie back in the second half of the season, which I firmly believe is going to be the case one way or another, the Nets are going to still be that overwhelming team that many believed the team was going to be this season. The Nets are the real deal, as long as Durant remains healthy.
