Why the Utah Jazz needs to win an NBA Championship this season. 

A year ago, it seemed as if the stars were aligning for an NBA Finals run for the Utah Jazz. Then, injuries fell upon this team and an earlier-than-expected playoff exit is what their season was ultimately defined by.

Heading into this season, there were already many that were quick to doubt the Jazz as a contender in the Western Conference. Through the first month of the season, though, Donovan Mitchell, Rudy Gobert, and the rest of this team have done a great job in changing that narrative.

The Jazz has proven thus far this season that they’re going to be a contender in the West and that they have as good of a shot as any other team in the conference to win the championship.
