There’s no clear favorite in the Western Conference

Just as was the case last season in the playoffs, there might not be a better chance than this season for a team such as the Jazz to win a title. There is no clear favorite in the Western Conference, as LeBron James continues to struggle with a group of misfits and Anthony Davis, and an argument can be made that the Jazz has as good of a chance of winning the West as any other team.

The Jazz has gotten off to a solid start to the season and if it wasn’t for the outrageous things that the Phoenix Suns and Golden State Warriors are doing, more people would be talking about Utah’s strong start to the year.

Utah has the No. 1 ranked offense in the league, the 11th best defense, and, perhaps most impressive, the second-best net rating in the league behind the Warriors. The Jazz may not have the sexy record, but this is a really good team at 11-6.
