Utah’s depth is not something to take for granted

Depth is an interesting thing in the NBA. One season, it’s everything you need it to be to win a championship. The next, it could be the very reason why you’re not considered a contender. In short, a teams’ depth or supporting cast is very volatile.

Right now, Utah’s depth or supporting cast is a big reason why this team can win a championship this season. The Jazz has five players averaging at least 14 points per game this season and a rotation that can go 10 deep.

Their depth is likely something that the team will take the most advantage of during the regular season but also something that the team could possibly lean on in the playoffs. It’s something that could be ultimately separated for evenly matched teams in a postseason series.
