NBA Thanksgiving: What every team should be thankful for in 2021
By DJ Cadden
Brooklyn Nets: Sean Marks
Kevin Durant. James Harden. Patty Mills. LaMarcus Aldridge. Blake Griffin. Paul Millsap. Joe Harris.
The Nets have arguably the best roster in the entire league, which is good enough to slide them into first place in the Eastern Conference right now. No matter how much fans may despise “superteams,” it is undeniable that Marks has built a championship-caliber roster this season.
Charlotte Hornets: Miles Bridges’ Most Improved Player campaign
After years of bottom-dwelling in the Eastern Conference, the Charlotte Hornets have amassed a strong young core and should consistently compete for a title in the very near future.
The biggest asset for Charlotte, outside of star point guard LaMelo Ball, is undoubtedly forward Miles Bridges. The former Michigan State Spartan is averaging a career-high in points, rebounds, assists, and steals.
The dynamic duo of Ball and Bridges has become one of the most exciting one-two punches in basketball and also has the Hornets right in the thick of the playoff race.
