Los Angeles Lakers: 3 mid-season trade targets to help salvage the season

The Detroit Pistons are at the beginning of what will likely be a long, extended rebuild. They are destined for another top 5 pick this season and with Jerami Grant becoming an expiring contract after next season, they have to think carefully about how they want to approach the next step in the rebuild.

If Grant wants to play for a contender, the Pistons would likely oblige. There’s no indication that would happen, but the Pistons would be dubious to not entertain offers for Grant if they came across the wire.

Grant is a versatile wing that can guard multiple positions and has proven that he can also be a capable threat on the offensive end. I’m not sure if he single-handedly would solve all of the team’s issues, but he’d certainly give them some much-needed top-heavy depth.
