8. Pascal Siakam – Toronto Raptors

At the end of the 2019-20 season, everything was going right for Pascal Siakam. He had secured his 1st NBA title the season prior, he had won the Most Improved Player award that same year and had just become an All-Star.

Things were looking good and although he wasn’t an All-Star in 2020/21, he still looked as though he was on the path to being Toronto’s franchise player for the next few years.

This season (so far) has been one to forget for Siakam, as injuries and inconsistency have led to him only averaging 17.7 PPG, down from 21.4 PPG last season. His 3-point shooting percentage is up though, from 29.7% last year to 39.4% so far this year, so maybe he can build on that and get back to being the guy Toronto needs him to be.
