The Greek Freak should be hungrier than ever for more success. The reigning Finals MVP has done a terrific job of keeping the Milwaukee Bucks afloat as they have dealt with many injuries throughout the season. So what does a true leader does when things aren’t going right? He sets the tone for his team every night and provides momentum building.

Giannis is averaging 27.6 points per game along with 11.8 rebounds on 53 percent shooting. One of the biggest reasons why Giannis continues to emerge as an MVP candidate is due to his ability to develop in weaker areas of his game. For instance, although Giannis can still be a poor shooter, he still looks to shoot a high percentage and make the defense pay. He also continues his dominance in attacking the rim and controlling the glass.

It is still early in the season for Giannis and the Bucks to build some momentum for themselves. The defending champions are still the team to beat and look to become a bigger threat as the season progresses. Meanwhile, as long as the Bucks continue to succeed, Giannis’ name will continue to climb the charts in MVP Rankings.
