Whether a fan loves him or hates him, the impact of Steph Curry is once again felt by the NBA. It has been a difficult ride for the Warriors following the 2019 NBA Finals. The franchise has been trying to find its glory days after missing the playoffs the past two years. After getting off to an 18-2 start through the first 20 games of the season, Golden State as emerged as many people’s favorite to win the NBA title.
Curry is showing the world that he gets better with time. He’s averaging 27.8 points per game and continues to shoot the ball at a high clip. Because of Curry’s elite scoring, his impact has rubbed off on a few of his teammates in the process. Jordan Poole is having himself a career year while shooting 35 percent from 3-point range. Other contributors in Andrew Wiggins, Gary Payton II, and a few others have elevated their play as well.
Looking at the overview of the Warriors’ season thus far, it’s no question they’re thinking championship. This is familiar territory that Curry has been a part of on multiple occasions. With Klay Thompson making his return, the game will only come easier for Curry as he continues his MVP caliber season.
