Reassessing the New York Knicks after the first quarter of the 2021-22 NBA season.

At the time of this writing, the New York Knicks have played 23 games (just over a quarter of the season), have one loss more than wins, and sit 11th in a seemingly rejuvenated Eastern Conference.

While still just under .500 and 5.5 games back of the 1st seed (the standings are so close right now), this may be a disappointment to some who bought into the Knicks’ 5-1 start to the season.

A lot has changed for this team since its opening night victory that spawned some of the best NBA Twitter moments for the first couple of weeks of the season (if you’re still using ‘bing bong’, get with the times).

Let’s reassess the team “starting” with the starters (hilarious, I don’t care what you think).
