NBA Rookie Ladder 2.0: Scottie Barnes rises; Josh Giddey cracks the top 5

4. Franz Wagner, Forward, Orlando Magic
The Orlando Magic are the second-worst team in the entire NBA because their record is so bad, it’s hard to find bright spots. However, rookie Jalen Suggs has been one of those few bright spots. With that said, their other rookie Franz Wagner has been brighter.
Wagner plays with a poise beyond his years, and the longer the season has gone on, Wagner has settled into his role on the Magic nicely. So much so, his scoring is off the charts. Wagner is one of only three rooks to cross the 300-point threshold; placing second among rookies with 326 points scored this season.
Forward is one of the most difficult positions to fill on an NBA roster, if the early result holds it appears the Magic have filled that spot for the foreseeable future.
