New York took a big risk during the offseason and took a chance on Kemba Walker to solve the team’s point guard issue. Roughly a quarter into the season, Knicks coach Tom Thibodeau had enough of the experiment and he was benched.
Kemba is now being shopped on the open market and if the Knicks wanted to take a chance on another guard that could potentially fit better on the team, there might not be a better option than LeVert – especially considering Collin Sexton, who many viewed as a potential trade deadline target, is sidelined for the remainder of the season.
