NBA Trade Rumors: Kyrie Irving trade packages that would upgrade the Nets

John Wall is not the same caliber player as Kyrie Irving. John Wall has suffered two significant injuries since 2018. Unlike Kyrie, Wall is eligible to play right now, and he did put up over 20 points per game last year for the Houston Rockets.

The Nets are currently paying Kyrie not to play, and if they traded for Wall, they would at least have a former All-Star who is still capable of putting up points.

Additionally, it was reported that Kyrie would consider retirement if traded from Brooklyn – though, that has somewhat been debunked. The Rockets might be one of the few teams that would embrace his retirement to continue their tank and save money.
