NBA: Way-too-early Eastern Conference All-Star predictions
4. Zach LaVine – Chicago Bulls
I think Zach LaVine is quite underrated. If you look at the body of work he’s put in over the past four seasons, I feel like he should be talked about more. So far this year he’s averaging 26.0 PPG, 5.0 RPG and 5.3 APG on 49.0 FG%, 39.1 3P% and 84.6 FT%.
Those are some great numbers and it’s led to the Bulls being 17-10 (63%) after 27 games, a significant improvement from the 31-41 (43.1%) the Bulls went last season.
LaVine tore his ACL a few years ago, and for a player known for his athleticism, it was doubtful that LaVine would be able to reach his potential. Luckily, thanks to the miracle of modern medicine and training, LaVine fully recovered and looks set to be a great player for many years to come.
