3. DeMar DeRozan – Chicago Bulls

DeRozan has easily been the signing of the season. The rebirth he has gone through has been great to see and should easily get him an All-Star nod for the first time since 2018. Before this season he had three decent years with Spurs where he averaged 21.6 PPG, 5.3 RPG and 6.2 APG on 50.1 FG%.

Since arriving in Chicago he’s averaged 26.4 PPG, 5.3 RPG and 4.1 APG on 49.8 FG%. He’s been the Bull’s best player and the main reason they are 17-10. Like Jimmy Butler, DeRozan knows that he’s not a good 3-point shooter, but he’s a great mid-range marksman. He excels at finding pockets of space between defenders to receive the ball and hit the open jumper.

Let’s hope DeRozan can keep this production up and give the city of Chicago the deep Playoff run it deserves.
