7. Trae Young – Atlanta Hawks

Like LaMelo Ball, Trae Young is incredibly entertaining to watch. In fact I’d say there’s no one as thrilling to watch in the league right now out of players not named Steph Curry. Young is extremely quick, nimble, has a tight handle and loves to shoot from 30 feet out and over.

He’s also developing quite a bit of ‘notoriety’ for himself, as shown when he bowed in front of the Madison Square Garden crowd as his Hawks eliminated the Knicks in last season’s Playoffs. Moments like that really help build your profile in the eyes of NBA fans (myself included).

All this infamy wouldn’t mean anything unless Young was backing it up with his numbers, and he is. Averages of 26.5 PPG and 9.5 APG on 45.2% from the field, 38.6% from 3 and 88.7% from the free-throw line are more than enough to earn Ice Trae an All-Star spot in my eyes.
