5. Joel Embiid – Philadelphia 76ers

After a subpar start to the season and a wave of COVID-19, it looks like Joel Embiid is finally getting back to mid-season form. Over his last 8 games he’s averaged 27.4 PPG and 12.3 RPG and the 76ers look like they will be ok in the post Ben Simmons era.

On the season he’s averaging 24.2 PPG, 10.8 RPG and 1.4 BPG. He could do with upping his efficiency as Embiid should be hitting more than 44.1% of his shots, but this average will increase as the season progresses and Joel hits his stride even more.

Embiid is another player who has benefitted from his personality. He always has fun on the court and his patented celebration where he spreads his arms out wide, gesturing for the crowd to applaud is very well-known.
