NBA Trade Rumors: Mocking a Ben Simmons deal to every team with interest

For the Los Angeles Lakers to land Ben Simmons, they’re going to need help and a lot of it. In this scenario, they get it from the Detroit Pistons in which they are willing to take on Russell Westbrook’s contract along with a couple of first-round picks.

Quite frankly, I don’t love this deal for the Sixers. Though, they do get a strong stretch-4 in Jerami Grant, who will be making a return to Philly. After that, there’s really nothing special coming back. The return for the Sixers is what I’m stuck on. Nevertheless, these are just ideas to build off of.

For the Lakers, they’re able to get off of Westbrook’s contract, land Simmons, and get what’s left of Danny Green. Overall, this has to be considered a huge win for them.
