11 bold predictions for the 2022 calendar year in the NBA. 

It’s safe to say that I don’t think anyone really predicted a global pandemic to dominate the NBA for the past two calendar years. Nevertheless, COVID-19 has been the headlining story for the NBA over the past 24 months.

Heading into a new year, while COVID-19 will still very much be a factor, the hope is that the league can start pivoting back to a greater sense of normalcy – just when we thought we were getting there, a new variant arose and has been wreaking havoc in the league.

As we inch closer to the end of the 2021 calendar year, we look forward to 2022 and make a few bold predictions for what we can expect to take place in the Association.
