11. Anthony Davis – Los Angeles Lakers

In my article on who I think will make the All-Star game from the East, I pointed out that some players with many All-Star appearances get a boost to their chances of making the game just with their name alone. They become synonymous with the event as if they just have to be there if they are still playing.

Anthony Davis is becoming one of those players.

He’s been an All-Star since his 2nd season, something that is only achieved by phenomenal players, and has made the game every year since for a total of eight appearances so far. Even though he’s having a down year, averages of 23.3 PPG, 9.9 RPG, and 2.0 BPG on 52.1% from the field should be more than enough to earn him his 9th selection.
