7. Luka Doncic – Dallas Mavericks

Luka Doncic is the next Great White Hope; the heir to Larry Bird’s throne. He’s unathletic, lumbers around the court, but yet puts up incredible numbers on a nightly basis. So far this season he’s averaging 25.6 PPG, 8.0 RPG, and 8.5 APG on 44.7% from the field, and this is slightly down from what he’s averaged over the last two seasons.

Doncic is a generational talent who can win multiple MVPs if he can just sort his shooting out. He’s a guy who can become the best player in the world with the right guidance and teammates, we just have to hope Mark Cuban can get the assets Doncic needs to succeed.

6. Donovan Mitchell – Utah Jazz

The Donovan Mitchell – Rudy Gobert combo is a deadly duo that is dominating the NBA. Right now, this pairing has the 3rd highest net rating out of every duo in the NBA that has played at least 25 games and 500 minutes together.

Whilst Gobert is dominant as mentioned, Mitchell is the ball-handler that makes it all happen. He’s quick, athletic, has a big wingspan, possesses a tight handle, and can finish extremely well at the rim. He’s also averaging 25.4 PPG, 5.0 APG, and 1.6 SPG on 45.7% from the floor and should lead the Jazz down another deep Playoff run.
