What each NBA team should be hoping for heading into the 2022 calendar year.

We explore each team in the NBA, giving one thing that every team should be hoping for heading into the 2022 calendar year.

Atlanta Hawks: Consistency

The Atlanta Hawks can’t build any kind of momentum. They won seven straight games through November 26. It signaled a turnaround for the team that had made the Eastern Conference Finals last season.

Since that streak, a month of games later, they have yet to win two in a row. They’ve dealt with roster shortages, much like the rest of the league. But at 16-19, they’re on the outside of the play-in.

It would be a massive disappointment for them to miss the playoffs after last year’s exhilarating run. They’ll need to bring the consistency and string some wins together to get there.

Brooklyn Nets: Kyrie Irving

The Brooklyn Nets have one obvious item that they should be hopeful for: Kyrie Irving. Yes, it is true that the Nets organization folded when they had multiple players out with protocols. Feel how you may about it, the fact is Kyrie will become a part-time player for the Nets in road games.

And the Nets are sure hoping he can contribute to a team that needs support right now. And with Harden looking back…they might find themselves hoping for gold too.
