Boston Celtics: Something new?

I don’t know what the Boston Celtics could be hoping for heading into the new year. Does anyone know what their thoughts are on anything? I know what I’m hoping for them, though, and that’s something new. It really doesn’t have to be splitting up Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown (though it is a surefire way to land a star), but something needs to change.

The new coaching hasn’t shown as much, and the team is struggling to fight for yet another season. They’ve got a lot of intriguing pieces outside of the young wing duo, it may be time to offload some of them (finally!) in a trade to bring in someone that can change the Celtics in a (hopefully) good way.

Charlotte Hornets: A big man

The Charlotte Hornets are ahead of schedule. A fast start simmered out a little but the Bugs are still one game above .500. LaMelo Ball, Gordon Hayward, Miles Bridges, and more have all had their moments. But the team could use a whole lot more defense. And a lot of it could be helped with a legit rim protector.

To be completely fair, Mason Plumlee has been a solid center (for like the fourth straight year, by the way), and the ‘PJ Washington at center’ experience has undoubtedly been a success. But I want a defensive stalwart in Charlotte. Someone Melo can have explosive chemistry within the PnR. If I’m the Hornets, I’m hoping for a deadline trade for Myles Turner. Just don’t give up too much, please, and thanks!
