LA Clippers: Health
Another team whose window has been seemingly shut for at least this season. The LA Clippers had stayed relatively afloat this year without Kawhi Leonard, but now Paul George is out for at least 3-4 weeks.
The Clippers are currently sixth in the middle-of-the-pack that has become very crowded in the Western Conference. They need to hope for the speedy return of PG13 to have a shot at advantageous seeding these playoffs.
Los Angeles Lakers: Help
The Los Angeles Lakers just need help, man. Listen, I will give you that scapegoating Russell Westbrook for all of LAL’s issues is misdiagnosing. They’re not losing these games despite his efforts, though. However better he’s playing than the consensus says, it is not to the level that the Lakers need to succeed in this league.
Anthony Davis has been banged up and checked out from time to time. LeBron has been a marvel lately but has dealt with injuries of his own. The rest of the roster is older and one-dimensional. A lot of these problems were evident last season but were covered up with the injuries the team took. 18-19. Ninth in the West. They need help. And they better be hoping for it.
