Kyrie Irving is set to make his season debut for the Brooklyn Nets.

Just a few weeks ago, it all but appeared that we weren’t going to see Kyrie Irving at all during the 2021-22 NBA season. However, now, he’s just a couple of days away from making his season debut for the Brooklyn Nets.

According to a recent report, Kyrie is slated to make his debut for the Nets against the Indiana Pacers. Of course, per New York state law, Kyrie, who is currently unvaccinated from COVID-19, isn’t permitted to play in the state of New York. He will only be eligible to play in away games, and that begins against the Pacers.

The Nets have lost two games in a row and for the first time in a long time are not sitting in the first seed of the Eastern Conference – the Chicago Bulls are currently one game ahead at the moment.

There’s no question that the Nets will greatly benefit from the addition of Kyrie. However, just because he’s returning to the team doesn’t mean there are still big questions to ask. Does his return to the team ensure that he’s going to be playing in away games for the remainder of the season? Does his return to the team mean he’s any closer to being a full-time member of the team?

There are still big questions that need to be answered and, quite frankly, I’m not sure we’re going to get any of them any time soon. For now, it seems as if the Nets are going to let Kyrie do his thing in an attempt to get him back into the fold.

After that, I’m not sure what the plan is.

But, Kyrie is back. And, at least from a pure basketball standpoint, that is something that will bring fans some added excitement.
