NBA Trade Rumors: 10 players that could be dealt by the 2022 deadline

8. Buddy Hield
Speaking of the Sacramento Kings, according to ESPN’s Jordan Schultz, Sacramento has reportedly made veteran guard Buddy Hield available in trade talks. Per the report, the asking price is “hefty, but feasible.”
Trade rumors surrounding Hield are nothing new. This past summer, Hield was headed to Los Angeles to team up with LeBron James and Anthony Davis until the Lakers decided to scrap that and trade for Russell Westbrook instead.
Last month, Jason Anderson of the Sacramento Bee reported that the Kings were “shopping a package including Hield and Marvin Bagley III in hopes of getting a good player in return.” Reports have also suggested that the Kings have looked into acquiring Ben Simmons and Pascal Siakam over this past summer.
Given all the rumors that have surrounded Held over the past 2-3 seasons, it feels inevitable that he will get dealt at some point.
The 29-year-old would bring elite 3-point shooting to whatever franchise he ends up at next. A career 40.2 percent 3-point shooter on 7.6 attempts per game, Hield’s the type of player any contending team would want on their roster. A 3-point threat who spaces the floor and doesn’t need the ball in his hands to succeed. It’s just a matter of what teams are willing to give up to get Hield and if the Kings find any deal they like.
