NBA teams that need to make a trade: Boston Celtics
The Boston Celtics are in a similar situation as the Blazers but nowhere near as dire as Portland.
The Celtics have two all-stars in Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown, just like the Blazers have in Dame and CJ, but lack the roster depth in order to support their stars, like Portland. The thing Boston has over Portland is that their two stars, Tatum and Brown, are a lot younger.
Their roster issues run deep. The Celtics struggle to create offense when Tatum and Brown aren’t on the court and when Tatum and Brown are on the court they run isolation plays way too often. Playing in Boston right now, with how stagnant the ball movement is just doesn’t look fun. But the thing is they don’t have anyone else with the ability to create their own shot.
Trading someone like Marcus Smart for a player that would compliment Tatum and Brown’s skillset better would be a Smart decision. See what I did there?
A big that can space the floor and protect the rim like Myles Turner or a point guard that could spread the ball around like Tyus Jones could be some nice additions to this Celtics team.
