NBA Trade Rumors: Chicago Bulls looking to trade Coby White at the deadline
NBA Trade Rumors: The Chicago Bulls are reportedly open to trading Coby White.
I don’t think that this season could’ve started any better for the Chicago Bulls. Even more so when you consider that they decided to go all-in during the offseason by acquiring Lonzo Ball and DeMar DeRozan.
As it currently stands, the Bulls are atop the Eastern Conference and have a top 5 offense. DeRozan is in the midst of (arguably) the best season of his career and it would be wise for the Bulls to enter the next few weeks ahead of the trade deadline as buyers to try and solidify their chances at making a run to the NBA Finals.
According to a recent report, the Bulls are looking to improve at the deadline and are willing to shop Coby White, presumably, to do so.

Considering that the Bulls have shifted to win-now mode, the Bulls, at the very least, shopping White is not exactly a surprising revelation. My gut tells me that they’d be willing to swap him for a veteran that could help this team during the postseason.
And the Bulls have been just fine this season, but nearly every contender will be looking to make some last-minute additions to the team ahead of the second-half playoff push. And it’s statistically better to do that at the trade deadline vs. at the buyout market.
The Bulls have consistently been one of the best teams in the league this season. You can make an argument that they’ve been the best team in the Eastern Conference for the majority of this season. That doesn’t mean they can’t get better. And doing that potentially means having to part ways with a young asset; in this case, White.
