San Antonio Spurs

It’s quite amazing that despite not having a ton of talent on their roster – or at least established talent on their roster – the San Antonio Spurs, led by Gregg Popovich in what many believe will be his final season, has been pretty competitive.

They’re still technically in the playoff picture of the Western Conference. That said, they’re five games back of the 8th seed and you can imagine how much that is going to grow in the next few weeks leading up to the trade deadline.

The Spurs need to hit the hard reset button and there might not be a better time to do that than at the trade deadline. Even more so if this is indeed Pop’s last year on the Spurs’ sideline. At least for now, the playoffs seem like a pipe dream for the Spurs.
