Sixth Man of the Year: Tyler Herro, Miami Heat

Tyler Herro, unfortunately, had to listen to all of the doubters this past offseason. After displaying a tremendous 2020 Playoffs in the bubble, last season didn’t match the same energy. Sure, Herro’s numbers weren’t as awful as his performance came out to be.

But considering the ceiling that he has for a player, many expected more out of him.

Herro is averaging 20.7 points this season and for the most part, has been the leading factor offensively. The Heat have been swarmed with injuries to their core players but it hasn’t hurt them in the standings. Herro continues to improve as an elite talent as his confidence continues to grow.

As long as the Heat need him to be their go-to guy, Herro is looking to continue to answer the call.
