MVP: Stephen Curry, Golden State Warriors

After being a dynasty through the late 2010s, the Golden State Warriors have gone through trials and tribulations over the past few seasons. The departure of Kevin Durant and two devastating injuries to Klay Thompson have brought in questions whether the franchise can become contenders again?

Well, led by the best shooter the games has ever seen, the Warriors are once again everyone’s favorites to win the championship this season.

Of course, Curry’s individual performances places him ahead of other MVP candidates. He’s averaging 26.8 points on 42 percent shooting through 37 games. But the thing that makes Curry so great is that he allows others to become better versions of themselves as well. Because of that, players like Jordan Poole, Andrew Wiggins, and others have elevated their game when they have played alongside Curry.

As long as Curry continues to lead the Warriors to a top seed in the West, his name should always be the frontrunner for the MVP award.
