NBA Trade Rumors: 5 playoff hopefuls that should be buyers at the trade deadline.

Here we find ourselves again. Beyond the playoffs, this is the greatest time to be an NBA fan. It may match the Finals in terms of topics trending and media coverage. I am, of course, talking about the NBA Trade Deadline. We are finally here!

Now, we have already had a couple of deals. The Knicks landed a potential starter a week ago from the Atlanta Hawks. The Denver Nuggets brought in Bryn Forbes through a three-team deal that was rather inconsequential to the others involved. By the way, did you know that Forbes has more 3-pointers made than anyone but two Nuggets players this season?  In essentially half the minutes of either of those players no less!

Those deals are appetizers, though, at least compared to the deals made at the deadline in years past. We want the big deals, and we want them now! Don’t you worry your pretty little heads, the deadline is on February 10th and the rumors are swirling.

We’re taking a look at five playoff hopefuls that should be BUYING at this year’s deadline. Some of them are a piece a way, and others need all the help they can get.
