NBA Trade Deadline priority: Sell off veteran assets 

Let’s call this season what it is for the LA Clippers; it’s a lost season. Paul George is still a few weeks from a return (and that’s no guarantee) and there’s a strong chance that we don’t see Kawhi Leonard again until next season.

Even if George returns, this team is not going to make a move up the West standings and will likely be a first-round exit team if they even make the tournament.

Instead of trying to go down this path this season, it’s probably best if the Clippers sell off their veteran assets and try to make the best of what has been a lost season. It’s time to retool around PG and Kawhi.
